Young Philosophers Club - Think Smart: How to Master Argument and Debate

For 12-16 year olds

Starting Tuesday 17th September then 24th September, 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd October, 5th and 12th November.

Join Steven Campbell-Harris and learn how to Think Smart! In this Young Philosophers Club you'll ask and learn:

  • What is an argument exactly?
  • How to identify and craft your own arguments
  • How to evaluate arguments 
  • What does it all mean? Arguing about meaning
  • What's right and what's wrong? Arguing about values
  • Building a critical thinking toolkit 

Young Philosophers Club:

  • Is for 12-16 year olds
  • Is online via Zoom
  • Is for everyone with a curious mind, you don't need to have done philosophy before
  • You'll receive a certificate at the end of the club

Young Philosophers Club is where we think and talk about some of the most interesting and puzzling things in life. Through games, stories and thought experiments you will discover how deep these ideas go.

Please note: This club needs a minimum of 7 children to run.
